This is a wiki, which means that you can add content to it.

To make a link within the wiki:

1. Click on Edit Page and write a word within double brackets, like this:

[[Mark Twain]]

You can also just put the brackets around an existing word. Don't highlight more than 3-4 words, or you'll make text disappear on the page.

2. Click on Save Page (a button at the bottom of the page) This will take you back to your original page.

3. When you see the link on the page, click on it. You will see a "page not found; Edit Page" notice.

4. Click on Edit Page.

5. Type (or cut and paste) your text into the new page. Click on Save Page.

6. Return to the original page. (You can use the Route links to do this.) Click on the link you made to see what your page will look like.

The Start button will always lead you back to the home page. The Route set of links at the top of the page will help you to retrace your steps.

To make a link to an outside source:

1. Put the URL of the link and the name of your link in double brackets.

2. Separate the two items by a "pipe" (SHIFT- backslash key. The backslash key is the key above the ENTER key).

It will look like this: [[http://www.wsu.edu/~campbelld/amlit/twain.htm|Mark Twain]]. This link is to a page called "twain.htm" (not "twain.html") Notice that there are no spaces on either side of the "pipe."

Adding pictures to the wiki:

1. Adding pictures is more complicated, since you'd need to upload them to your own webspace first or find a link to a picture online that suits your purposes.

2. You can add pictures and other items using the marks listed below. For example, a link to a picture uses the squiggly brackets (SHIFT-[ key) and would look like this:
