Early Harvest Tri-State Trial Postharvest Evaluation

The 2004 Early Tri-State trial consisted of 4 named cultivars and 10 numbered clones. All entries fried light with USDA ratings of "0". Ranger Russet, A96095-3, A98295-3TE & AOA95154-1 produced non-uniform fries. Russet Burbank was the only entry to have internal defects, it contained 42% brown center and hollow heart. A98295-3TE produced mottled fries.
