Plant form

Tall and upright, branching out as it ages.

Size

3 to 4 feet tall and wide.

Flowers

Plants produce white, pink, or purple flowers. Blooms continuously from mid-summer until frost.  Flowers continue opening from the ends of the stems throughout the season.

Water use

Low; can grow in many parts of the West with no supplemental irrigation.

Culture and maintenance

Plants occasionally may be available from garden centers.  May be started from seeds grown indoors or sown outdoors in the place they are to be grown. Plants produce viable seeds which ocassionally germinate the following year. Insect- and disease-free.
