Biography
Cicely
Marsheila Clinkenbeard is majoring in Communications with an emphasis
in Advertising and a minor in Fine ArtsÖComputer Imaging and Business
Administration. She maintains a 3.87 GPA while participating in
varsity Track and Field as a long jump, triple jumper and Heptathlete.
She plans to continue her success in school as well as on the track.
Cicely's
goals include maintaining a 4.0 GPA for the remainder of her undergraduate
career. She is a member of several All-Academic Teams, among several
honors she has earned academically. She hopes to add another PAC-10
triple jump trophy to her first from the 1998 PAC-10 Championships
and two more All-American honors to round out her senior year. She
also aspires to participate in the National Championships in order
to qualify for the World Championships in Canada during the summer
of 2001; possibly spring boarding her professional track and field
career.
Cicely
graduated from Okanagon High School in the small Washington town
of Okanagon in 1997. She was number two in her class earning her
the honor of Salutatorian with a 3.92 GPA. Cicely was actively involved
in several activities including Student Council (A.S.B.), Red Cross
Blood Drive volunteer, and varsity athletics. She brought her knowledge
of community service, school involvement, and athletic achievement
to Washington State University and became an involved student-athlete.
She is an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Board (S.A.A.B.)
serving as a PAC-10 Forum Representative. She is also a member of
Team CARE serving on the executive board (TC2). She has also found
time to be a PAC counselor of new student athletes and participate
in several community service activities such as can food drives
and serving as an elementary reading tutor. Just recently,
Cicely was named Women”s Track & Field Team Captain (please
refer to resume).
Cicely
will be completing her undergraduate degree in May of 2001 and is
looking to get her MBA with an emphasis in Marketing. By being excepted
into on of the top MBA programs in the United States, she hopes
it will lead her to a rewarding education and later achieving her
personal and career goals.
Cicely
is currently a Master's student in Communication at Washington State
University
