Brief Biography
My name is Evelia Sandoval and I am 21 years old.  I am currently a junior here at Washington State University. I am from Benton City, WA and I am the oldest of 5 children. While in high school I did well academically while getting involved in many activities. Here at WSU I have continued along those lines. I am majoring in Biology and am involved in many activities.  I am a founding charter of the first Chicana/Latina sorority, Gamma Alpha Omega. I am a student mentor in the Chicano/Latino Student Center within the Office of Multicultural Student Services. I tutor for HEPI (High School Equivalency Program), am involved with PACE (Preparing Aspiring Cougars of Color for Educational Excellence), which is a high school recruitment program, and I have also been involved in Mugeres Unidas and the Chicano/Latino graduation.
