  COUNCIL OF DEANS

Functions: 

1.      Ensures adherence to the highest standards of academic excellence.

2.      Provides a forum for communication among its members.  Members collectively discuss issues of concern to the institution, such as strategic planning, reconfiguration, budgets, curricula, personnel, and interactions across colleges and campuses.

3.      Advises the Provost on appropriate courses of action relevant to the functioning of the Institution, particularly in regard to academic affairs.
