Functions: 1.
Interprets and administers the University's Facility Use Regulations. 2.
Receives and acts on requests for use of facilities consistent with printed regulations. 3.
Reviews regulations periodically and recommends changes to the President of the University. 4.
Facilities for Physical Recreation will function as a Subcommittee.
Composition
and Tenure: 1.
One member each from the Facilities for Physical Recreation Subcommittee, and the Physical Facilities
Committee, with three-year terms. (F-A/P-S) 2.
One graduate student and two undergraduate students, with one-year terms.
(G-U) 3.
Eight ex officio, voting members with indefinite terms, representing the Vice Provost for Student Affairs;
Vice President for Extended University Affairs; Vice President for Business Affairs; Department of Kinesiology and
Leisure Studies; Director, Physical Plant; Public Safety; Director, Compton Union Building, and Athletics.
(X) Responsible to:
The Provost and Vice President for Business Affairs The Chair will be
selected by the Provost and Vice President for Business Affairs from the ex officio members. Committee
