Functions: 1.
Recommends policies concerning retirement and insurance programs for faculty and staff. 2.
Reviews existing insurance and retirement programs and proposes new programs for faculty and staff. 3.
Reviews and recommends medical insurance programs for students, after consultation with students. 4.
Disseminates information to faculty, staff, and students regarding University insurance and retirement plans. Composition
and Tenure: 1.
Six faculty, administrative and professional personnel, and staff, with four-year terms.
(F-A/P-S-C) 2.
One faculty member from Economics, Finance, or Accounting, with a four-year term.
(F) 3.
One member from WSU Retirees Association, with a four-year term. (R) 4.
Two graduate students and two undergraduate students, with one-year terms, to serve on a subcommittee to
review and recommend items relating to medical insurance programs for students and other student insurance programs.

Assistant Vice Provost for Human Resources; Director, Benefit and Payroll Services; and Director, Health and
