Functions: 1.
Provides a structure that assumes a leadership role in addressing sexual assault issues within the WSU
community. 2.
Collects, analyzes, and utilizes data on sexual assault. 3.
Increases public awareness of sexual assault issues and resources. 4.
Provides a network for the design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of prevention education
programs. 5.
Provides a network for coordinating services to effectively respond to victims and others affected by sexual
assault, and to efficiently report such incidents. Composition
and Tenure: 1.
One or more faculty, administrative professional, or staff members from the Athletic Department, Counseling
Services, Health and Wellness Services, WSU Police Department, Department of Psychology, Residence Life, Social
Economic Sciences Research Center, Office of Student Affairs, and Women's Resource Center. (F) (A/P) (S) 2.
One representative from Alternative to Violence of the Palouse (Non-WSU) 3.
One or more undergraduate and graduate students. 4.
Other interested participants. 5.
