Functions: 1.
Acts as an advisory group to the Director of Health and Wellness Services and provides liaison among students,
student government, and administrators. 2.
Conducts program and service review to include interrelationships with Pullman Memorial Hospital. 3.
Recommends development and establishment of new programs. 4.
Reviews the budget and advises on financial matters. 5.
Assists in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of key administrators and professional personnel. Composition
and Tenure: 1.
One faculty member, not from Health and Wellness Services, with a three-year term.
(F) 2.
One medical professional of Health and Wellness Services, recommended by the Vice President for Student
Affairs, with a three-year term. (HWS) 3.
Two graduate students, with one-year terms. (G) 4.
Four undergraduate students, including one re-entry student, with one-year terms.
(U) 5.
A physician from Pullman, recommended by the Director of the Health and Wellness Services, with a three-year
term. (non-WSU) 6.
Vice President for Business Affairs; Vice President for Student Affairs; Director, Health and Wellness
Services; and Director, Benefit Services and Risk Management; or their representatives.
