COMPANIES BID TO CONSTRUCT NEW
BUILDING ON WSU VANCOUVER CAMPUS
VANCOUVER, Wash. -- The next step toward the growth of the Washington State University at Vancouver campus will get underway when bids for construction of a new physical plant maintenance shop are opened on April 1.
The project involves site development and construction of a two-story, 14,000 square-foot maintenance and materials storage facility to support the growing maintenance operations associated with the ongoing campus expansion. The new facility will be constructed near the existing 9,500 square-foot physical plant building.
WSU Vancouver, which began serving students in 1989, opened its 351-acre campus in 1996 and currently provides junior-, senior- and graduate-level courses to some 1,500 students. WSU Vancouver is located seven miles north of the Vancouver-Portland metropolitan area.
