$2.3 Million Physical Plant Facility Will Support Growing Maintenance Needs
WSU VANCOUVER AWARDS LATEST CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
VANCOUVER, Wash. -- Washington State University has awarded a $2.3 million contract to Nielsen Dillingham Builders for construction of a physical plant maintenance facility at the Vancouver campus.
The Portland, Ore., firm was one of nine Northwest companies that submitted bids. The project involves site development and construction of a two-story, 14,000 square-foot maintenance and materials storage facility to support the growing maintenance operations associated with ongoing campus expansion. Construction on the new facility, at a site near the existing 9,500 square-foot physical plant building, is set to begin by June 1.
WSU Vancouver provides junior-, senior- and graduate-level courses to more than 1,500 students on its 351-acre campus seven miles north of the Vancouver-Portland metropolitan area.
