PGP and mkPGP

IT UNIX Systems

PGP is an encryption program that can be used with your mailer to allow you to send and receive secure e-mail over the internet.  Using pgp and mkPGP only intended recipients can read the encrypted e-mail message.  If you haven't used pgp before, it takes a bit of reading to understand.  Try the following links:

Info on PGP  - The program itself.
Info on mkPGP - A script used to integrate pgp into Pine, making it easier to encrypt and decrypt pgp-mail.

Note:  mkPGP has already been put in its proper place, your pgp directory has already been automatically created, and the PGPPATH variable is already set.  The path to mkpgp is:

/usr/local/bin/mkpgp
