AFW Awards for Outstanding Women Graduate
Students |
| The Association for Faculty Women (AFW) is pleased to announce its annual awards for outstanding women graduate students. These awards recognize the academic achievements and professional potential of WSU's women graduate students completing their degrees in the 2007-2008 academic year (graduation dates of December 2007, May 2008, and August 2008). The Harriett B. Rigas Award will be presented to a doctoral student and the AFW Founders Award will be presented to a master's student. Criteria for the awards include academic performance, research and scholarship, and overall promise of future professional leadership. Both full and part-time students are eligible. Each winner will receive a plaque and a cash award. Nominations can be made by sending the completed nomination form and application package to the AFW Awards Selection Committee Chair (Maggie Reed, campus zip 4736) by 5:00 pm on Friday, 29th February 2008.
