Summer Solstice
Saturday May 17

The Washington State University Solstice Wind Quintet will present a special summer concert at the WSU Art Museum at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 17. The concert is free of charge and the public is invited to enjoy music and art in an intimate setting.

The Solstice Quintet features WSU School of Music faculty members Ann Marie Yasinitsky, flute; Shannon Scott, clarinet; Keri McCarthy, oboe; Jennifer Scriggins Brummett, horn; and Ryan Hare, bassoon.

Solstice has presented hundreds of concerts throughout the Pacific Northwest including performances on prestigious chamber music series.

The program will include works from around the world by Austrian, German, French, Argentinean and American composers Ibert, Lefebvre, Haydn, Reicha, Piazzolla and Schuller.
