  • The Atrium Cafe on the ground floor of Todd Hall is now serving salads, sandwiches and other grab-and-go foods, plus breakfast items such as muffins, bagels, and fresh fruit. Coffee service is being expanded. Hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. Cash, Cougar Cash, and credit or debit card payments are accepted.
  • The Bookie (Students Book Corporation) has expanded the space dedicated to its café and eating area, and added new menu items including specialty foods from area restaurants. Here are more Bookie services.

Up All Nights

The first one is Saturday, August 19, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on the Glenn Terrell Mall and in the adjacent Todd Hall. Free food, free music, free movie and more. Check the full fall line-up and locations here.

Safe locations to drop off passengers

With the CUB turnaround gone permanently as a place to drop off or pick up friends and family, WSU’s Department of Campus Security offers the following tips:

  • Plan to meet at a specified location in less congested areas of campus and use your cell phones to communicate and reduce the wait times.
  • Consider safety in the locations you choose. And avoid illegal locations such as fire lanes, red curbs and bus pullouts, and do not stop in roadways or block bike lanes.  Also avoid driveways into parking garages.

Use the transit system to get on and off campus. Just show your CougarCard to ride the bus for free. Pullman Transit has convenient drop off locations such as the Bookie, Wilson Road and Stadium Way, Spokane Street, and more.

Postal services and stamps

Postal services are now available in the Washington Building, near the CougarCard office and the Washington State Employees Credit Union. Called Cougar Express Mail, it is open to faculty, staff and students from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and offers:

  • mailing and shipping options from several organizations
  • free Student Notary Services

Enter from the lower parking lot. A postage stamp machine is also available there.

The Bookie (Students Book Corporation) has postage stamps at the main store on the Pullman campus. Check out all of its special services.

Cougar Copies

This service is now in Holland and Terrell Libraries. Go past the circulation desk, left down the hall and through the doors into the Microforms area. You’ll see it to the left. Visit online.

CougarCard Office

To inquire about a balance, report a lost card or ask about your account, stop by the CougarCard Center now located in the Washington Building, Room G-9-A, next to the credit union. This same building houses the Student Health Center.

Quiet study spaces

An additional study area has been created in the Holland and Terrell Libraries in the space formerly used by Interlibrary Loans. You’ll find it to the right of the entrance.

The Bookie (Students Book Corporation) is providing studying and gathering spaces in three areas of the main store on the Pullman campus. Check out that and other special services.

The Atrium on second floor of the Smith Center for Undergraduate Education also provides space for sitting and studying.

Hotel rooms on campus

On-campus hotel service for special weekends throughout the 2006-2007 academic year is available. Special weekends include all home football games, Mom’s Weekend, and both Fall and Spring Commencement Weekends. Stephenson South will be the hotel facility, providing easy access to campus as well as downtown Pullman. Reservations will be completely online and should be available by late August.

ATM or cash machines

These are available in various parts of the campus, including:

  • French Administration Building, 2nd floor, Bank of America ATM.
  • Inside Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum concourse, near ticket window, First Bank ATM
  • Outside The Bookie, to the right of front entrance, US Bank ATM.
  • Inside the back entrance of the Washington Building ("old hospital"), to the left of the Washington State Employees Credit Union entrance, WSECU ATM.

METRO registration and the eInfoCenters

The Web-based services at the two locations have moved into the myWSU portal as a next step in building a one-stop Web location for all your important WSU transactions and notices. Use this chart to see what’s where.
