Information about many sources of funding is available from the WSU Graduate School. Scholarship awards may also be available from academic colleges and departments.

WSU Graduate School fellowships and scholarships

Students in environmental research can receive WSU Graduate School fellowships or scholarships that pay for significant portions of their education.

Travel awards

Graduate students have the opportunity to get stipends to attend conferences and meetings through the Graduate Student Travel Award Program.

Fellowships in environmental research

The College of Engineering and Architecture, the College of Sciences, and the College of Agricultural, Human, and Natural Resource Sciences offer a number of fellowship awards each year to support selected graduate students who are interested in environmental research. This is in addition to the traditional research or teaching stipends that are offered.
