Information Technology (IT) has several UNIX © systems for public login, by the WSU community. A number of others function as special purpose servers (such as Web servers, USENET news server, Domain Name server, DCE server and a ListProcessor server). A single IT UNIX account gives you access to all public systems.
You have one general purpose UNIX file space for web pages, email, and general UNIX use. This file space is accessible from any of the systems.
The mail spool is shared between systems, so it doesn't really matter which system you send the email to. It is recommended to use mail.wsu.edu as your mail address.
