Compton Union Building, Lot 48, Disability/Meters
The Compton Union Building (CUB) renovation is expected to begin
on May 15, 2006. The details of the renovation can be viewed
here.
Although disability and mall service access up Wilson Road will
be maintained during the project, the loss of the metered spaces
will decrease the availability of disability parking spaces in
the lot east of the CUB. Disability parking patrons can find
alternate Disability parking in the following locations:
Disability parking spaces will be added to the Green 1 lot situated
between the Fine Arts garage and the Smith Center Garage accessed
off of Stadium Way. When using these spaces, access to central
campus can be gained by taking the Fine Arts garage elevator
from the first to the fifth floor or by taking the Smith Center
interior elevator from the first parking level to the third floor
of the building.
Martin Stadium North, Lot 110, Green 1
Phase 1 and 2 of the Martin Stadium renovation is expected to
begin after the Apple Cup which is the last home football game
of the 2006 season, November 18, 2006. The project includes
several improvements to the stadium which can be viewed here.
The project will eliminate 26 Green 1 parking spaces north of
Martin Stadium. Upon completion of these phases, this parking
area will re-open for parking. Green 1 parking permit holders
can find alternate Green 1 parking in the following locations:
In the Green 1 lot north of Johnson Hall.
In the Green 1 lot south of Johnson Hall and on Wilson Road.
Additionally, Green 1 permits are valid in Yellow, Red, and Blue
lots.
