Special Parking Conditions Parking on Campus During Finals Week
General Rules:
The parking
regulations are enforced every day, twenty-four hours a
day. However, during finals week special conditions exist, and
the regulations are modified.
Finals week begins on the Monday following
the fifteenth week of the semester and lasts through the following
Friday.
Special Conditions
Permits:
Blue parking zones: Permits are not required in the blue parking
zones.
University-Owned Apartment parking areas: Permits are not required
in the university-owned apartment parking areas.
Other parking zones: Zone permits are required in orange, green,
yellow, red, crimson, gray and visitor zones.
Note: Temporary One Hour Parking Zones will be established
in portions of the crimson and gray zones during finals week
to accommodate moving into and moving out of residence halls.

Note: Any vehicle parked on university property, other
than a pay area or metered space must clearly display a current
university permit for a given area during the posted hours
when permits are required. WAC-504-15-510
Parking Meters:
Payment is required during posted times.
Pay Parking Facilities:
Smith Center Garage, Library Garage, Student Recreation Center
Payment is required during posted times.
Other
Special Conditions:
During summer session, semester start, university holidays,
vacation periods, and finals week special parking conditions
