Traffic
Revision: Stadium Way Restriction
WSU officials will establish a temporary “restricted
traffic zone” on a section of Stadium Way from Grimes
Way north to Orchard Dr./Colorado St. during home football
games two hours pre-game until two hours post-game. Vehicular
access to this section of Stadium Way will be restricted to
emergency vehicles, transit vehicles, stadium support vehicles
and vehicles displaying disability permits for the purposes
of dropping off persons with disabilities.
| The
restricted traffic zone is being established for the
following reasons: |
|
Improve pedestrian safety
and access for large volumes of game patrons crossing
Stadium Way to and from Martin Stadium.
|
|
Consolidate the flow of exit
traffic from campus side streets and parking areas into
more manageable and predictable patterns.
|
|
Increase the availability and visibility of transit as
an option for getting to and from the game.
|
|
Create an opportunity to
improve perimeter control and security of Martin Stadium.
|
For the most enjoyable experience, plan to arrive early
and take advantage of the activities planned for each home
game.
Follow this link for more information on Game
Day Events.
You CAN avoid the traffic altogether; check out the FREE
Game Day Shuttles.

to provide free bus service on home football game days. Along

and catch the Visitor Center shuttle from the nearby Transfer
Station. The Visitor Center shuttle will begin at the Transfer
Station and drop off riders on Colorado Street right across
from Hollingbery Fieldhouse next to Martin Stadium. After the
game, all shuttle pick up locations will begin on Stadium Way
by the east end zone of Martin Stadium.
Service
on the Saturday North and South routes will be every 30 minutes,
service on the Express route will be every 15 minutes, and service
on the Visitor Center shuttle will be every 15 to 20 minutes.

and other unforseen circumstances, buses may be delayed. Please
plan accordingly. Please call Pullman Transit at (509) 332-6535
or the WSU Visitor Center at (509) 335-8633 for more information.

game from 9:00am to approximately one hour after the end of
the game. The Visitor Center is a terrific place to rendezvous
with friends before and after the game. You can also park
and ride around the Visitor Center and take the free game
day shuttle up to campus.
The
Visitor Center has an expanded gift shop now offering a great
selection of WSU merchandise including WSU clothing and
