Important Parking Permit
Renewal Information

Pullman, Washington – Washington State University Parking and Transportation Services will be offering annual campus parking permit renewals for 2008/2009 on the Web.

Eligible annual permit holders will be contacted via a myWSU portal notice and a post card mailing that will direct them to the WSU Parking and Transportation Web site for the renewal, which is expected to start on March 25, 2008. The permit by web renewal process is easy and takes as few as six clicks to complete.

Permit holders will also notice an inflationary increase in annual permit prices. In March 2004, the Board of Regents granted authority to raise permit rates up to the Consumer Price Index (CPI). For more information on parking rates, follow this link: New Parking Rates Fall 2008.

Due to some changes in the parking zones, permit holders are encouraged to review the Zone Choices Map before renewing their parking permit this year.

A valid WSU Network ID is required to renew a parking permit. Anyone who has lost or forgotten their network ID can retrieve it by calling the WSU IT Phone Desk at (509) 335-HELP (4357).

Those wishing to renew permits through the web service should also ensure that their primary mailing address with WSU Parking and Transportation is current. Mailing addresses can be checked by following this link: Update your University Address.

As in the past, the initial phase of the renewal is restricted to current eligible permit holders. Once that phase is completed, annual permits will be made available to other parking patrons.

Those who do not have access to a computer to renew or purchase a permit can do so at the WSU Parking and Transportation office.

For more information, contact WSU Parking and Transportation Services at 509-335-PARK (7275) or e-mail parking@wsu.edu.
