Special Parking Conditions

Parking on Campus During a University Holiday

General Rules: The parking regulations are enforced every day, twenty-four hours a day. However, during a university holiday special conditions exist, and the regulations are modified.

A University Holiday is a day when all university facilities are generally closed. Currently, University Holidays include: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.  
For the purpose of parking enforcement, President's Day is considered a University Holiday. Note: University Holidays could change from year to year.

Special Conditions

Permits:
Permits are not required in orange, green, yellow, red, blue, crimson, gray and visitor zones. However, restricted spaces remain in effect. These areas include disability, load/unload, service, reserved and specially signed areas.

Parking Meters:
Payment is not required.

Pay Parking Facilities:
Smith Center Garage, Library Garage, Student Recreation Center
Payment is not required.

Other Special Conditions:
