Where Can I Use My Permit ?

The following guide will help you understand how your parking permit can be used in other zones around campus.

Orange permits: Orange permit holders may park in their numerically assigned orange zone, or in any green, yellow, red, or blue zone. For example, an orange one permit is valid in the orange one zone and in any green, yellow, red, or blue zone. It is not valid in other orange zones. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Green permits: Green permit holders may park in their numerically assigned green zone, or in any yellow, red, or blue zone. For example, a green two permit is valid in the green two zone and in any yellow, red, or blue zone. It is not valid in other green zones. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Yellow permits: Yellow permit holders may park in their numerically assigned yellow zone, or in any red or blue zone. For example, a yellow three permit is valid in the yellow three zone and in any red, or blue zone. It is not valid in other yellow zones. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Red permits: Red permit holders may park in their numerically assigned red zone or in any blue zone. For example, a red one permit is valid in the red one zone and in any blue zone. It is not valid in other red zones. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Crimson permits: (Resident Priority Parking) Crimson one permit holders may park in the crimson one zone, or in any gray one, or blue zone. Crimson two permit holders may park in the crimson two zone, or in any gray two, or blue zone. Crimson three permit holders may park in the crimson three zone, or in any blue zone. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Gray permits: (Resident Priority Parking) Gray permit holders may park in their numerically assigned gray zone, or in any blue zone. For example, a gray one permit is valid in the gray one zone and in any blue zone. It is not valid in other gray zones. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Blue permits: (Peripheral Parking) Blue permit holders may park in any blue zone. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Visitor permits: Visitor permits are valid in green, yellow, red, and blue zones, and parking spaces signed for visitors only. Visitor permits are not valid in pay lots, meters, or restricted spaces. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Golden Cougar permits: (WSU Retiree) Golden cougar permits are valid in green, yellow, red, blue zones, and parking spaces signed for visitors only. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Motorcycle permits: Motorcycle permits are valid within boundaries of areas specifically posted and/or marked for motorcycle permits. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Moped permits: Moped permits are valid within boundaries of areas specifically posted and/or marked for moped permits. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Commercial permits: Commercial permits are valid in service zones, and green, yellow, red, and blue zones, and parking spaces signed for visitors only. Commercial permits are not valid in orange zones, pay lots, or other restricted spaces. This parking permit is also valid in the Student Recreation Center parking lot.

Disability permits: An annual disability permit is available to permanently disabled university employees and students at the established fee. WSU disability permit holders may park in orange, green, yellow, red, crimson, gray, and blue zones, and metered spaces. They may not park in service zones or reserved spaces. ICNE Nursing permits: ICNE Nursing permits are valid in green, yellow, red, and blue zones on the Pullman campus. This parking permit is also valid in the WSU Pullman Student Recreation Center parking lot.

WSU Urban Campus permits (WSU Vancouver, WSU Spokane): WSU Urban Campus permits (WSU Vancouver, WSU Spokane) are valid in green, yellow, red, and blue zones on the Pullman campus. These parking permits are also valid in the WSU Pullman Student Recreation Center parking lot.

U of I and WSU Reciprocal Parking Agreement
Washington State University and the University of Idaho have developed a cooperative parking agreement for the purpose of enhancing the accessibility to either campus for faculty, staff, and students participating in cooperative programs.
