WSU Athletic Foundation RV Parking Policy for Football Weekends

All Recreational Vehicles Must Park in a Designated RV Lot

Traffic Revision: Stadium Way Restriction
WSU officials will establish a temporary “restricted traffic zone” on a section of Stadium Way from Grimes Way north to Orchard Dr./Colorado St. during home football games two hours pre-game until two hours post-game. Vehicular access to this section of Stadium Way will be restricted to emergency vehicles, transit vehicles, stadium support vehicles and vehicles displaying disability permits for the purposes of dropping off persons with disabilities.

The restricted traffic zone is being established for the following reasons:
right arrow Improve pedestrian safety and access for large volumes of game patrons crossing Stadium Way to and from Martin Stadium.
right arrow Consolidate the flow of exit traffic from campus side streets and parking areas into more manageable and predictable patterns.
right arrow Increase the availability and visibility of transit as an option for getting to and from the game.
right arrow Create an opportunity to improve perimeter control and security of Martin Stadium.

For the most enjoyable experience, plan to arrive early and take advantage of the activities planned for each home game.
Follow this link for more information on Game Day Events.

You CAN avoid the traffic altogether; check out the FREE Game Day Shuttles.

Reserved RV  Parking
For home football weekends, a WSU Athletic Foundation (WSUAF) RV Parking Pass is required to park in the South Beasley parking lot. WSUAF (AA, A, B, C) parking passes will not be honored in this lot. For more information or to join the WSU Athletic Foundation, follow this link: WSU Athletic Foundation.

Update:  The South Beasley RV Lot is sold out for the 2007 Football Season.

Tow vehicles will be allowed in the lot at no additional cost. A Tow Vehicle Pass must be requested with the season pass. Beginning this season, the license plate of the tow vehicle will be recorded on the Tow Vehicle Pass when RVs first arrive in the lot. A tear-off piece at the bottom of the Tow Vehicle Pass will be provided to record the tow vehicle's information for each game. The Tow Vehicle Pass will only allow that particular tow vehicle into the lot for that particular game.

There are no individual game passes available.

Cougar Security Patrol will provide security in this lot for each home game.

RVs must be self-contained. No hook ups or dumping stations are available in this lot.

RVs will not be allowed to park in this lot until after 3pm* on the Thursday prior to the game. Any RVs in the lot prior to 3pm on Thursday will be required to move and may be cited for lack of compliance.( *Change for Daylight Savings)

No spaces can be saved in the lot until after 5pm on Friday prior to the game.

RVs must minimize the number of spaces in which they park. RVs must pull into or back into all spaces and stay within the painted lines of the space. If an RV pulls across a sidewalk, they must be within the lines of one of the spaces that they occupy. RVs will be allowed to park parallel along curbs within the lot so long as they do not block ingress or egress to the lot. There will be no additional charge for RVs that take up more than one marked parking spot due to the size of the RV. Also, if an RV has an awning, it may be utilized at no additional charge as long as it takes only one additional parking space. No other parking spots may be used for tents, build outs or cooking areas.

All fires must be contained in an approved container designed specifically for the purpose brought by the RV patron. Digging fire pits in the ground and burning on the pavement is not allowed. Coals and ashes from fire pits and barbeques must be disposed of in the containers designated for that purpose only.

Quiet hours in this lot occur between 10 PM and 7 AM.
