Queer Alliance
The Queer Alliance is a Washington State University faculty, staff and
graduate student association organized to promote a campus environment in which
sexual orientation and gender identity are experienced as positive components
of both individual identity and campus life. The QA advances actions that
create an open, safe and welcoming environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgender, and intersex students, faculty and staff, and advocates for
academic research and programs that encourage our voices and visibility. The
QA works in conjunction with other University and community resources to expand
knowledge about queer people to create communities where all individuals are
fully included and affirmed as valued members.
