Al advises and provides training for the advertising, graphics, online and circulation staff members. He’s been with Student Publications since 1995, but before then his career spans decades in a variety of journalism jobs, including reporter, editor, advertising director, publisher and owner, at a half dozen Oregon weekly and daily newspapers, such as the Hermiston Herald and the (Pendleton) East Oregonian.
