Announcing the 3rd Statewide Conference

You’re invited to attend the WA Department of Ecology’s 3rd statewide conference on reducing nonpoint water pollution. The conference will be held at the Howard Johnson Plaza in Everett, September 27 & 28, 2000.
The conference should be of interest to conservation districts, local, state, tribal and federal government agencies, watershed planning groups, irrigation districts, agricultural organizations, farmers, local nonprofit groups, environmental organizations, citizens, etc.
The conference will offer sessions on a variety of topics and a concurrent open house /exhibition hall. Session topics will include agriculture, forests, stormwater control, septic systems, hazardous materials, roads, recreation, and working in the water.
This is the place to meet with citizens from all over Washington State who share the common goal of clean water for people, fish and local economies. You will have the opportunity to network informally with peers, attend sessions to learn from people who are actively working on pollution prevention techniques, and to discuss your ideas and questions with potential partners.
Conference details:
Registration fee: $60 (includes lunch both days); $75 after September 1.
