Online Materials [Note: Updating of this page is in progress]
1. You'll want to use the MLA Bibliography, since it's the gold standard for finding materials in American literature. To find it, go to this page:
http://www.systems.wsu.edu/griffin/indexes.htm
2. Click on Databases A to Z. Warning: "Quick Search" and the other links on that page will give you a "not found" message for MLA; they don't work. Doing a "Subject" search under Humanities won't give you the MLA database, either. The "Cross search" sometimes works and sometimes doesn't; right now, it will bring up a "Not Found" link for MLA. Stick with the Databases A to Z link.
3. Type in MLA. This will take you to MLA at Ebsco. You can also get to Project Muse, JStor, and Proquest from this menu. The library has removed the old drop-down menus.
