22 August. Welcome to English 302! The Bookie and Crimson and Gray have a good supply of the two textbooks needed for this class: Kennedy and Gioia'sIntroduction to Literature and Mark Twain's A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. You'll want to purchase both soon, since the bookstores will return any unsold copies. Your assignment for Thursday is to pick any one element that you find important in the Wheatley poem "On Being Brought" (a word, an image, a capital letter, or even a punctuation mark) and bring that information to class on Thursday.
