
The Writing Workshop
OBJECTIVE: To investigate the thesis process and its importance
within the writing process.
ACTIVITIES:
"The Thesis Exercise."
ASSIGNMENT: Read over Chapter Nine. Pay particular attention to "Three Phases of Writing."
HOMEWORK: Make a promise to yourself to utilize an outline,
if you do not already, for your next writing assignment. This
can still be done even if the essay is small in length. Also,
use your time management skills to map out how you are going to
research, write, and revise your paper in the time allotted. This
may help prevent all-nighters.

CATS - a program that investigates various, student-generated transitional topics/issues in weekly workshops and small group settings.
Becoming A Master Student text.
The Writing Lab, Avery Hall 451 - one-on-one tutoring, no appointment necessary, daytime and evening hours from Monday through Friday.
Roommates, friends, and classmates for bouncing ideas off of as
well as proofreading final copies.
