February 10th!!!!!This is a mostly formal event, however it is certainly not required. If you have pictures please give them to Christine outside of Kimb. 241. We need more clarinet pictures. Tickets are in the band office for $15 at noon or contact James or the band office. I also have one more thing to mention. We need more clarinets attending BB games. Since there are only the select few that go, our seats have been taken over by the Trombones. There are about twenty trombones that show up every game and drive the clarinets out of our seats. Even the flutes have more players at games then us. I wish for just one game this could change, where clarinets could actually represent. Please let me know what you think about this and maybe we can plan for more people showing up to at least one game. Thanks -Diana Thursday, January 05, 2006National Champions!!!
Just a thought...The Texas Longhorns beat USC in last night's National Championship Rose Bowl. We beat this same Texas team two years ago in the Holiday Bowl. Logic proves, thus, that the Cougs are the 2006 National Champs!!! Congratulations! Not bad for a 4-657 team. Let's take a look at this mathematically... If, Texas is greater than USC, WSU is greater than Texas, Texas = Rose Bowl Champs, Rose Bowl Champ = National Champion, WSU is greater than National Champion, Therefore, WSU = True National Champion!!! Sorry so late!!!What: The best xmas party ever When: 12/3/05 Saturday 6PM Where: meet at Orton, might be moved to Honors but probably not Who: the best section ever Why: because we can What to bring: yourself, a white elephant gift (this is a cheap and can be funny gift, please keep it under $10 and please have it wrapped. Newspaper or plastic bags work fine), Christmas movies, cookie decorations if you want (I have sprinkles and choc and vanilla frosting. Oh and plates), a writing utensil because we will be voting on awards, money if you want to get pizza or Flix run or if you want to go see "The forty-year-old Virgin" and food or snacks if you wish. This will not be an overnighter, probably end around midnight or so. If you have any games, skit ideas or awards let us know at the party.
