Objective: A multi-investigator program in the area of Cattle Reproductive to enhance research activities and promote interactions between the investigators. Benefits: An integrated program to address the basic aspects of Cattle Reproduction and application to the cattle industry in Washington and Idaho. Organization: Utilizes the organization and existing structure of the Center for Reproductive Biology at Washington State University and the University of Idaho to help administer and integrate the research programs. Research: Integrated approach to develop a better understanding of the basic and applied aspects of cattle reproduction. This will lead to the potential future design of procedures to improve reproductive efficiency and therapeutic treatments for abnormal conditions. Summary: The objective is to establish a multi-investigator
program in the area of cattle reproduction to develop advanced technologies
and procedures to improve productivity and profitability of beef and dairy
farmers. The program will provide basic and applied information that will
be transferred to clientele through the active participation of Extension
personnel and organized activities of the program. The integrative and
multi-disciplinary approach of the current proposal is required to effectively
and rapidly apply the technical advances to the farmer. Project 2 — Mark A.
