37. "Vyasa": one of the Vedic sages. He is a contemporary of the figures and a rishi and epic poet in the Mahabharata, Vyasa is credited in Hindu tradition with having compiled the entire collection of the Vedas. "Ushanas": another Vedic sage, he is known in the Rig Veda for his ability to see all things, hence he is the most "discerning" of all humans.
