13. Kama, or passionate desire. This is one of the "four goods" (chaturvarga): desire (kama), artha (material wealth), dharma (performing one's duty or station in life), and moksha (liberation from the cycle of death and rebirth). Kama encompasses the entire range of sensory pleasure and aversions.
