Appendix E provides a short summary of the Vensim features, as of
1998 when the book was written.

If you elect to use the Vensim software, the following note
and model will help you make use of Vensim's lookup variable
to create nonlinear relationships. A simple exercise is build the
bank balance model and verify that you get the results shown in the note.
