We'll meet as a class several times at SLIC for "hands on" demos.
You can also use SLIC individually (outside of the scheduled ESRP 550 hours).
There is a small fee for this. (I think the fee was $20 per semester in 2005-2006.)
(I'm told some of the other computer labs on campus charge much more.)

As of Jan 2004, the SLIC hours were:
Mon-Thur 8 am to 9 pm |Fri 8 am to 5 pm | Sat,Sun Closed
And back in 2004, their plan was to normally close SLIC at 5pm during the first week of the semester,
and they tend to close early during finals week. They are closed during all student hollidays.

Check in with the student staff who will assign you a pass word
to one of the computers.

The staff can help you deal with hardware problems (i.e., why isn't the printer working?),
but don't expect them to answer questions about Stella or modeling.
