University executive administrators have approved the following new University policy:

Washington State University Ethics, Conflict of Interest, and Technology Transfer EP27

The purpose of this new policy is to ensure that University researchers perform research and conduct technology transfers in a manner that conforms to the highest ethical standards, complies with all applicable state and federal laws, and advances economic development, competitiveness, and technological leadership. Avoidance, management, and disclosure of conflicts of interest helps insure that such activities are conducted in a way that will withstand public scrutiny and ethics concerns.
