- Maintenance: Foot traffic may result in dead branches.
Prune

control growth.
- Pests/Diseases: May get leaf galls, which cause
unsightly
swellings
on the leaves. Insects may also eat notches out of the edges of the
leaves.
These problems usually do not harm the health of the plants
significantly.
- Other: Leaves develop burgundy coloration in the fall
and
winter.
