2^nd Paper Assignment

Our next paper is going to be a synthesis of all the articles we have read so far as well as the book-- plus one more article I will give you next week -- to answer the following question:

How effective is public policy in solving drug problems?

As you consider this question, you have to think specifically about a number of smaller questions:

1. What do we mean by "public policy"?
2. What countries are we talking about?
3. What drug problems are we talking about?
4. What solutions have been implemented?

Obviously, as we answer this, we'll need to find an organized way to blend the answers of these smaller questions into the development of our answer to the bigger question.

I anticipate that at this time, it will take us about 3 weeks to produce this synthesis in an acceptable form. It will be written in APA style and will be approximately five pages long. In the course of this paper, you will need to make reference to all of the articles we have read as well as the book.
