lets keep the goodtimes going.

alright, so a lot happened today, and I had a great time. but lets start things off with a thought that came to my head right after I posted the last entry.

how often weird or random things remind me of someone in my life. I think it's funny that everyone has different random ques to thoughts of people in their life. take for example when mariah carey comes on my itunes, I think of ryan because he is a big fan of hers(old school of course)... that's just random. also, when someone mentiones a cult, I think of alex. not because he was or is in a cult, but because he introduced me to a band called sugarcult... which I LOVE. by the way, they have a new album coming out spring 2006. yay. ok, or when I drink powerade I think of brandon. because he drinks them all the time(thus why he's so buff. the correlation is like r=9.96)... or when I gaze at the stars, I think of the one time in my life where I actually had no clue what the hell was happening, I had no control over my body and I thought the grass was going to eat me(shrooms are weird)... or when I eat starburst candy(the green bag only) I think of my mom yelling at me for smoking pot at alex's house because apparently that is what my breath smelled like. haha, yeah... welcome to my life. or when I use a y splitter for audio cables I think of my brother because I stole his when I was a kid. or when I see... ok I can go on with this forever, but I won't...

oh, levi, I saw a kid that resembled you (large body structure and red hair) walking around on a paper route the other day, and I had to let out a huge smile. it was awesome.

so back to today... today was thanksgiving. so, we held thanksgiving here for all the alaskan kids. me, dane, erik, john, josh, jd, katy, ashley, joel, alex, and jd and katy's son lil john. for the record, lil john rules. that kid is awesome. anyways, for dinner we had a turdunkel, a normal cooked turkey, and a deep fried turkey injected with beer, garlic, and butter(delicious)... and then all the rest of the fixin's. yeah, it was quite the feast. while we ate we watched "blue's clues" because lil john needed to be entertained and "field of dreams" wasn't cutting it. sorry kevin, should have stuck with water world and the postman. man we had a good time with that actually. oh, and joe, the new steve, is not cool. steve is way better, steve actually drew in his handy dandy notebook... joe has something that draws for him.

after that meal we let it settle for a while and then headed over to jd and katy's place for dessert. they had like 5 different kinds of pie(I don't like pie) including chocolate pie(I like chocolate pie)... so that was fun... plus jd deep fried some twinkies. I didn't eat any of those though.

after that john, josh, erik, and I went to see "Rent"... it was REALLY good. I normally don't like musicals, but this was sweet. I'm starting to enjoy them more and more... I don't think I'll ever like opera's though... but you never know.

after that we came back to the house and chilled, and now I'm here. oh, I read the first chapter of harry potter and the sorcerer's stone... hopefully I'll get more read tomorrow...

what else to talk about? hmmm....

do you like the warm or the cold? I prefer the cold, mostly because I believe it is easier to heat yourself up rather than cool yourself down... plus, cold weather promotes blankets and cuddling. both of which I approve of, the latter moreso though, naturally.

that's all I've got for you tonight. I love steak.
