I love how short february is.
ok, so maybe it was just me not being able to think right, but when I looked at the calendar and it said the 24th, and I knew alex was coming the 2nd-3rd, I thought... alright, maybe like a week and a half or something... NOPE! 6-7 days! w00t! that rocks. I'm stoked... I have no clue what we are going to do, but it's gonna be tight.
time for sleep I guess.

now I know I'm a hick.
I was looking through the moscow-pullman paper for cars, only to find... "Will take guns or part trade" seriously people.
COOL! I mean, eeewwww!
ok, so if you are light of stomach or just ate, maybe this isn't the update for you, course, it's not that gross, but whatever.
This weekend I was sick, like Peter was a vegetable and "people didn't like being around him because he was lame" sick. so last night my throat got to a point where it took so much energy to swallow that I was fed up with it, not only that, but everytime I did swallow it hurt even more than that. so I had dane take me to the hostpital... course, it was one in the morning, so we went to the emergency room. I kinda enjoy emergency rooms, I don't know why, but I do. anyways, I get there, the triage checks me out, then after waiting about a minute(seriously) they called me back. man I love living out in the middle of nowhere... I was the only person in the emergency room waiting to be helped. my good friends dane and danny came to be there for me, which was awesome... well dane came because he drove me and danny came to keep dane company. so after the nurse checking me out in the real hospital room, I looked up at the clock and it wasn't working... I thought that was hilarious. the fact that something in a hospital isn't working just sort of made me laugh... course, it really shouldn't have because if some of that other stuff stops working some people are doomed. so the doctor came in and looked at my throat and said it was something to do with a puss sack behind my tonsils(still got em baby!)... which they had to drain. so they were going to set me up on an IV(cool, I think it's fun to have IVs... oh and for you batman lovers, I'm not batman, so I didn't get a poison IV... harharharharhar) the nurse comes in and gets out all the stuff for the IV. ok, I'm fine when it comes to needles, I really don't care, I've never had a problem with them, even when I was a little boy getting an operation and they missed my vein 5 times. well today was a new record for times being poked with a needle while in the hospital. the IV alone finally "hit" on their 5th try and second nurse, apparently the first one was having an "off" night, good thing she figured that one out after the 4th try. The second nurse came in and gave it a try but as he walked in, he said to the other nurse "it was blah de blah right?" and she goes "yeah, you called it, I told you you should have been a doctor instead of a nurse"... me sitting there laughing to myself that he called what I had without looking at my throat. goodtimes at that hospital... which reminds me... everyone watch scrubs tonight at 9! do it! Then, the IV wasn't strong enough to get blood drawn so they brought in a blood specialist who drew blood in one try(good thing he knows what the hell he's doing)... and then came the funnest part of the night. The true specialist of the hospital came in(I say this because he was wearing jeans and a flannel shirt. now you know they only call in this guy on crap other people can't do... goodtimes, I'm special)... so this guy came in, with his minions of the doctor who saw me and both nurses. so there are four people in the room other than me at this point, which is quite a few if you ask me, but eh, I don't care about others' fetishes, if they like to watch that's their own business. so this guy straps on a headlight, and sprays some stuff in the back of my throat to numb it. he then took a needle and a tongue depressor and went to work on the back of my throat. he stuck the needle into what they thought was a puss sac behind my tonsils(thus causing all the pain) to remove all the puss. he took it out, then stuck in another one... then he told me that there wasn't any puss in it(good thing) because it hadn't developed to that point, so they're putting me on vicatin, antibiotics, and some steriods... yeah! don't worry, the steriods are only to reduce inflammation in my throat, not those kind of steroids. anyways, so as the nurse was setting up my IV I felt horrible and my throat was on fire because the spray to numb it didn't work as well as thought. so after setting up the IV(and antibiotic)she went and got some morphine, steriods, and another shot of morphine... oh man, morphine is cooler than I remember. that stuff rocks. she said I might get a little light headed... woo... so we finally left the hospital at 3(yes, in the morning). I crawled into bed after drinking some juice and pretty much fell asleep instantly, except for the fact that my mind was racing like mad and between 3 and about 6 I couldn't tell if I was sleeping or hallucinating. kinda fun.
anyways, maybe I should have made that into more paragraphs, but whatever. I'm feeling better and getting better, I just need lots of rest and liquids. later ya'll.

and now, for something completely different.
Erica and I went to Living Faith Fellowship today, for their wednesday service... we didn't go just to hang out at a church, that would be weird. anyways. we walked in and baptisms were taking place, and they had a little pool that the pastors were in that they would walk down into and then be baptised. normal right? course it is, it's a baptism, how weird could it get?... the next person in line to get baptised was introduced by her father, then she said a few words to the people there, then walked into the water, this is when people walked up to a microphone and talked about God's plan for them and the great thing that she is doing, how he is always watching over and such... then came the doosie. EVERYONE started talking in tongues as she was dropped into the water... it was WEIRD, to me at least. I've never been around that. after that another person was baptised... then came the actual service... tonight was a special night, they usually don't do baptisms(duh).
So then the worship started(within maybe 7 minutes or so)... and in this church people go up to the front and stand and praise, which I find kinda cool because people are free to move where they want, worship how they want and such. during one song four women walked up onto the stage and started twirling around flags. I'm ok with interpretive stuff, but flags? these things got in the way of the words and were just straight up distracting.
Then I decided to pay attention to some detail... the people around me in the crowd in front of the stage(not a compact crowd, we had space...) were getting into the whole praising God thing, which I am totally into, but being from a presbyterian background I hardly move compared to some of the people there. anyways, I decided to watch everyone as we sang a song... in this particular song there were lines such as "I lift up my hands to you" and "I fall to my knees"... you know, stuff like that. so I watched them and as they sung those lines, they did the actions. I find that kind of funny. sorry, I do. I like to think of praise songs as worship, not instructions for movements. but the best part, although horrible I may be(it made me laugh), was on the "I fall to my knees" line, one guy didn't really notice that that was what it said until halfway through the next line of the song. so people fall to their knees, continue singing, then this guy falls to his knees, sort of in a rush.
ok, after that, the guy speaking(who apparently changes every week)... started talking and started it "remember the 80's?"... I'm thinking "crap, ok, stick with him"... "there was a song in 86 that really hit me..."... "a song? from 86? holy crap, have there been no songs like it recently?"... "fool's gold, by petra... I love everything ever done by them..."and so on... "PETRA? I listened to them back in the day when I was a little kid... I'm sorry, I'm not going to lie, petra made some crap music. sure some of it was good, but cmon, you love everything about them?... ok, stick with him."... he then based his ENTIRE sermon on the song. ugh. I never thought I'd hear a sermon based on a song from 19 years ago.
after that, we hung out(and going along with ccf, which is based in the same church) and people would come up and introduce themselves and hold a conversation with me... which I'm still not used to... not conversation, just not used to random people coming up and starting conversations with me, whether I want to have one or not.
after erica and I left, a bunch of people from the ccf posse went to the rec center and played some volleyball. it was a lot of fun, and the old peter came out. what does that mean? it means that I was crazy and just doing random things. mostly for attention and to make people laugh, which apparently I'm good at. goodtimes.
anyways, time for more sock gap, giggle loop, nudity buffer, and such.

dude.
I cannot wait until baseball season starts... I just want to watch it... which is weird because this is the first time I'm this excited about baseball... maybe because the yankee's new rotation is ROCKIN'... maybe because I just want to see people make cool plays. I think more cool plays happen in baseball than in any other game. well more cool plays per game that is... do you agree? I mean, it is about 2-3 times as long as other sports... but whatever, it's AWESOME! I want to be watching it RIGHT NOW!
oh well I guess I'll have to settle for studying!

valentine's day?
so it's valentine's day, and I'm single. that's cool, just another day, and hey! now, if I get a gf soon(within the next two months) then I don't have to worry about this holiday for a long time... sweet... sorry ladies, I'm HELLA poor.
anyways, robbie(guy I know from gonzaga, who is hilarious) gave me a valentine today that read... "If my love for you is like cancer... (inside)... then I sure hope you don't have the technology of chemotherapy! Happy Fucking Valentine's Day, Peter."... it was awesome.
anyways, I hope that you have a great valentine's day!

I DID IT!
yeah! alright, on my first game today I bowled a 204!!! it was INTENSE! I bowled 8 strikes! that is NUTS! the second game? 80... it was glorious... I didn't try at all, I bowled lefty a few times. you know... I was done after bowling the 204.
the third and fourth games were consecutive 176's... which is also disgusting... the first 6 frames of my last game was two strikes, two spares... FOUR STRIKES... it was nutty. my next goal? 250. it'll come...
GO BROOKLYN!... that's for all you true bowlers out there. I hit strikes from some weird angles... craziness.
enjoy your day ya'll.

w00t! oh wait, I mean CRAP!
so I have a test in exactly 7 hours. I just tonight read 92 pages of my sociology textbook and highlighted core concepts from it. oh man, I should really just stay on top of the readings... that would be SO much easier, but then I couldn't label myself as a slacker, and waht kind of a person would I be then? anyways, I need to hit the sack.
I just watched the notebook today... it was cute... sorta a 50 first dates meets a walk to remember. it was good though. wish me luck, because after my test I have music class then BOWLING! and my goal is to bowl a 200. (crossing my fingers)
gnite everyone.

ugh, I'm so screwed.
two tests this week, both of which I am thouroughly not ready for... w00t!
do you remember when I stayed up until I saw the gwen stefani video? I now started doing that with Kelly clarkson's newest one "since you've been gone" I like the song, and I like the video... her shirt is awesome too... ok, don't let your mind wander TOO far, it's just a hott shirt.
my intramural basketball team is in the playoffs(we made it last week), but today we were playing, and we were winning by so much that we had to try to miss shots so we didn't go up be too much(a 25 point lead limit)...
anyhoo... my life is sucking, I have a lot of work ahead of me and no will to do it.
oh well. this weekend and such should be fun.

whoops
are you ever so tired that when you try to wake up at the time you're supposed to, but your body takes control and turns off your alarm clock and you sleep for 5 more hours? my body did that today... I was GOING to wake up at 11:30... which tells you the TRUE time I woke up today, which is disgusting. oh, but I did go work out at 6 in the morn... yeah, that sucked, I am sore now and I have intramural basketball tonight... w00t!

have you heard the buzz?
if you have that is amazing! because I don't have anything to be buzzing about. my life is boring once again. wohoo! oh, and this week should be fun... studyin' w00t!...
I have/had pinkeye(in both eyes), which isn't that bad of a disease. pretty much just means you always look high and there are crusties on your eyes when you wake up...
oh, and pinkeye gives you a major disadvantage at picking up chicks.
anyways, back to nothing. yeah, nothing, I've been doing some work around the house(towel bars and such) and just playing video games. life is grand. I'm having a good time though... Danny, Dane and I usually hang out, play warcraft 3 and watch berserk. I went dancing on thursday which was a lot of fun, like normal, but extremely hot in the club... which sucks because that means I'm uber sweaty by the end of the night, which is not exactly hot. oh well, I have a good time. lots of girls, dancing, and smiles... oh, and I did the worm on stage... which was cool because erica said "I didn't know you could do that!"... which made me chuckle...
other than that my memory is blank. sorry ya'll maybe I'll fall off a bike tomorrow.

breaking and entering?
alright, so if you are thinking... jeez, it sure would be easy to get into peter's house... well, in order to climb through the mailbox, you have to have the latch already open in the inside... otherwise, it can't be done.
oh... and poop.
oh... and poop.

IT CAN BE DONE!
there it is... I can fit through our mailbox, and I've done it before when I've locked my keys in the house(eventhough I found out later they were in my unlocked car and not the house... me=genius)
have a good day

what a day.
alright, I told you that I was going to update whenever something eventful or interesting happened. so, here is my update on my DAY... yeah, my entire DAY was interesting. craziness.
how did it start you may ask? well it started with falling asleep at 5 on top of a blanket because my sheets were in the wash and I didn't want to mess with them... so then, at 10:30... the phone rings... ben answers I blurrily look over... he hands me the phone ... "Hi, I'm (I don't care), with Madd, mothers against drunk driving."... "ughhhh"... "I was calling to let you know of all the grreat things madd does, with your support they can do even more..." on and on she went "well, drunk drivers affect us all"... yeah, so does herpes. so I shut her up and went back to bed(remember I set my alarm for 10, but politely hit the snooze, until I was just awake enough to reset it to a later time.
I wake up, I eat breakfast(don't remember)... go to class, which was semi interesting... you know that the banjo and fiddle come from africa... the violin obviously is from europe, but the fiddle? very similar, different continent... craziness. I came home from class... watched an episode of gg... checked my facebook, and what was in my mail? a chain letter about MADD!!! how do they do this??? twice in a day... crazy people.
realized that I had to go turn in something I forgot about... but I didn't want to walk. so I borrowed erik's bike to save time. I started out, didn't have any problems, just normal riding... got to where I needed to get, dropped off my paper, talked with my prof... then started on my way home(downhill), so I changed it into the second big gear(the one that makes a bigger difference, and usually only three of them, but usually 7 on the smaller gear... and if you still don't know what I'm talking about... ride a bike) so changed it into second gear, and kept pedaling, I got the the MAJOR intersection between greek row and campus, I had a stop sign, so I slowed down to let two cars go by, then I stood up(to get more power) so I could pedal in front of a truck turning onto the street I was on... that's when this happened.

I bit it, I bit it hardcore, in front of a lot of people, and with a truck still moving at me... so after that, I rode home and just sat, course, I hit my knee uber hard, so pedaling was weird, but I got home. my knee hurt a lot! so what did I do after that? went to my monday intramural basketball game(with the bad knee... me=genius), but I played most of the game and I was owning, it was nuts... we won, I came home and surprisingly... my knee hurt more! I can barely put pressure on it, and it hurts to move. so I think I'll take a bath tonight to help it heal or something.
anyways, that was my day... hope yours was JUST as eventful.
how did it start you may ask? well it started with falling asleep at 5 on top of a blanket because my sheets were in the wash and I didn't want to mess with them... so then, at 10:30... the phone rings... ben answers I blurrily look over... he hands me the phone ...
I wake up, I eat breakfast(don't remember)... go to class, which was semi interesting... you know that the banjo and fiddle come from africa... the violin obviously is from europe, but the fiddle? very similar, different continent... craziness.
