The final is like a
2 pager with a thyroid condition. You look at a larger topic in greater
depth. For example, if you did a 2 pager on a perfume ad, you'd do
a final paper on perfume advertising, looking at a variety of ads for a
variety of fragrances or manufacturers, and examine how those messages are
composed and how they would affect their audiences. Or compare blue-collar
to sophisticated sitcoms and what they say about their audiences. Or
compare how two different news media (e.g., newspapers, TV) cover the same
story: is there a difference in word and/or pictorial choices and what
effect do these differences have on their audiences?
