THE PULLMAN K-FAMILY:

K - KIDS
K-Kids is the newest and fastest growing service organization for elementary students worldwide. These clubs are ideally suited for students in grades 1 through 5 (ages 6 to 12). A "student-led" community-service organization, K-Kids operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body. K-Kids clubs can also be established in a community-based organization. Such organizations might include, but are not limited to: community library, Boys Club, Girls Club, YMCA, YWCA, or a church.

PULLMAN KIWANIS CLUB
The Kiwanis Club of Pullman was formed on March 27, 1922. Today the club's membership is over 100 members. The club participates in many community projects including Christmas Food Baskets, Young Children - Priority One and Kiwanis Park as well as fund raisers to raise money for worthy causes in the local area including Pullman Community Breakfast, WSU Football Parking and WSU--Pullman Scholarship program.

BUILDERS CLUB
Many young people believe in the idea of service. They welcome the chance to make a personal contribution to their school, community, and peers. Builders Club offers such opportunities to middle school-aged students. Its goal is to develop leadership qualities in young people through experiences in volunteer community service. As the motto "We Build" indicates, Builders Club is for young people who want to take positive, constructive action to build a better world for themselves and others. Builders Club members experience the thrill of accomplishment and the satisfaction of knowing their efforts make a difference for those they help.

KIWANIS CLUB
Founded in 1915 and headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, Kiwanis International is a thriving organization of service- and community-minded individuals who support children and young adults around the world. More than 500,000 Kiwanis-family members in more than 80 countries make their mark by responding to the needs of their communities and pooling their resources to address worldwide issues. Through these efforts, Kiwanis International truly is "Serving the Children of the World."

KEY CLUB
Key Club is the oldest and largest service program for high school students worldwide. Today, Key Club exists on almost 5,000 high school campuses throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean nations, Central and South America, and most recently Asia and Australia. Membership tops 235,000 students and continues to grow.

The Pacific Northwest District has 413 clubs in 7 states or Provinces. Alaska, Yukon, British Columbia, Washington, Idaho Panhandle, Oregon, and a bit of California.
