In this seminar, students will examine and learn intercultural conflict resolution skills through selected readings drawn from the fields of conflict resolution and intercultural relations. A theoreatical foundation for examining conflict within an intercultural context will be established in the early stages of the course. This course is highly interactive and will require students' active participation. Class discussions and activites will focus on a critical analysis of intercultural conflict. Through experiential learning activities, reading and discussing the role that culture plays in conflict, students will have an opportunity to learn and apply intercultural conflict resolution skills.
