Exchange Economy: Prints by International Artists

Gallery 2 This exhibit will feature works from five different portfolios of prints produced by artists throughout the US and abroad. Each portfolio explores a different theme from issues concerning our built environment, to border crossings, to our dependence on technology. Visiting Artist Lectures

Artist Trust Workshop: How to Build a Strong Grant Application

Monica Miller, Artist Trust's Director of Programs, will present information on how to apply for grants successfully. The workshop will give tips on preparing a strong grant application, including "do’s and don'ts" for work samples, artist résumés, project proposals, and more.The workshops is free but pre-registration is required. Wrapped in Tradition: Chihuly Collection of Native American Trade Blankets

WSU Museum of Art
 Inspired by the rich patterns of the Pendleton trade blankets he collected throughout the years, Dale Chihuly created vibrant glass pieces that share the display space with examples of the original blankets in this one-of-a-kind exhibit.
The Museum of Art will also feature guest speaker Barry Friedman, author of “Chasing Rainbows: Collecting American Indian Trade and Camp Blankets and one of the nation’s experts on trade blankets.” Friedman will speak at 7 p.m., Oct. 3 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
