Portrait of Agrippina the Younger (AD 14-59)

If you are expecting something exciting here, prepare to be disappointed. This is a work in progress.

A little bit about me: I teach Ancient History, World Civilizations, and sometimes Women's History. Currently, I am the advisor of History Club, but that job will probably be taken over by someone else this fall. My research area is Early Imperial Roman history, with an emphasis on women (especially Julio-Claudian women). In particular, I am an expert on Agrippina the Younger and her fondness for mushrooms--for what that's worth. I am also heavily involved in local history, being a high mucky-muck (president-elect) in the Whitman County Historical Society.

Come by my office (Wilson 341) sometime or drop me a message via e-mail at the address below.
