HRC EQUIPMENT
Computing equipment includes an Ethernet network of 15 Macintoshes,
5 WINDOWS NT workstations, an Apple Workgroup Server, a WINDOWS NT Server,
five laser printers (three 600dpi and one 1200dpi large format), and one
color ink-jet printer all connected to WSUNet and the Internet. There are
six optical scanners, including two Silverscanner III 30bit color scanners.
an Epson ES-1200 30-bit color scanner, and two Nikon CoolScans for 35mm
slides.
Scanned material can be saved on a 200 megabyte Syquest cartridge drive,
100 megabyte Zip drives, and 1 gigabyte Jaz drives.
The Center has a twin-lens microfiche reader and a motorized microfilm reader.

a minimum of 80 megabytes of RAM, 2 gigabyte hard drives, Jaz, Zip, and
8x CD-ROM drives, Sony 17" monitors (two) and 20" monitors (two).
- 1 Power Computing PowerCenter 150megahertz Macintosh Clone with 32
megabytes of ram, 1 gigabyte hard drive, 8x CD-Rom, a Zip drive and Sony
17" monitor.
- 5 Dell Dimension 200megahertz Pentium Pro WINDOWS NT 4.0 workstations
with 64 megabytes of RAM, 3.2 gigabyte hard drives, 17" Sony monitors,
and tape backup.
- Dell PowerEdge WINDOWS NT 4.0 Server with 200megahertz Pentium Pro
Processor, 128 megabytes RAM, dual 4 gigabyte drives, 6x CD-ROM and DAT
drives.
- Apple Workgroup Server 8150 with 48 megabytes Ram, 1 and 2 gigabyte
drives runningAppleshare 3.0.1.
- 3 Apple PowerPC 7100s with 48 megabytes RAM and 250-750 megabyte drives
and 2x CD-ROM.
- 2 Apple PowerPC 8600/250 with 64 megabytes RAM, 2 GB drives and 4x CD-Rom.
