HRC FileServer: HOW TO USE VOLUMES A, B, C, etc.
Pull down the menu and click on Chooser; then click on AppleShare, then
Zone 106, then HRC FileServer and OK. At the next dialog box, type only
your last name in the box for User; type your password and click OK or press
Return. On the next dialog box the names Volume A, B, C, and names of
CD-ROM programs will appear; highlight your selection and click OK. Do
Not click on the tiny square box beside the lines Volume A, Volume B, etc.:
doing so will cause the selection to come up for the next user and may
cause your own folder to be unprotected.
When finished remember to drag Volume A or other selection to the Trash
BEFORE shutting down. If the computer will not allow you to do so because
certain files are still active, you must Quit the application (e.g., Eudora)
before putting Volume A, B, or C in the trash. Remember that you can access
your protected file in Volume A or B from any of the Macs in the HRC.
