OVERVIEW of HRC
The Humanities Research Center was established in 1980 by the Dean of
the College of Liberal Arts to provide shared facilities, equipment, and
consulting services in support of humanistic research by the faculty and
graduate students of the College. HRC is funded by the Dean of the College
of Liberal Arts.
The facilities and services of HRC are available to all faculty and graduate
students in the College of Liberal Arts. Consulting and training are available
through HRC for text processing and phototypesetting for scholarly publishing
and preparation of research papers, theses, and dissertations. HRC also
supports multimedia applications and the authoring of World Wide Web materials.
The Center is located in an attractive, air-conditioned facility in Avery
Hall 330. Users have access to the Center 24 hours a day via a security
